(ACS, wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd., SEHK: 8210), Asia Pacific's number one supplier of PC-linked smart card readers, today introduces its three latest software development kits (SDKs) to facilitate the development of different smart card applications. ACOS6 can be utilized for a broad range of applications, such as government services, payment applications and loyalty programs.
The ACOS6 SDK is designed for professional developers who are interested in using ACOS6 and ACOS6-SAM as platforms for their applications. ACOS6 SDK contains different tools that allow developers to learn the file structure of ISO7816, personalize cards and develop applications more conveniently.

SDK for ACR38 CCID Smart Card Reader

ACR38 is a high quality and reliable smart card-to-PC interface with a user-friendly design. It supports ISO 7816 Class A, B and C cards and complies with PC/SC (Personal Computer/ Smart Card) and CCID (Chip/ Smart Card Interface Device) specifications. This SDK includes an ACR38U CCID reader and no specific driver is required for Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7 and upward OS versions. With demo programs, reference materials, sample codes as well as tools and utilities included in the ACR38 CCID SDK, developers can explore how ACR38 CCID and smart cards can be incorporated into their security solutions.

Updated SDK for ACR122 NFC Contactless Smart Card Reader

ACR122T is a token-sized USB plug and play NFC contactless reader with CCID and PC/SC compliance. Developed based on the 13.56 MHz (RFID) technology and the ISO/IEC 18092 standard for Near Field Communication (NFC), ACR122T supports ISO14443 Type A and B, Felica, Mifare and a variety of NFC contactless tags and devices. It is perfect for secure personal identification and online micro-payment transactions, especially under fast-paced and mobile environments.
The ACR122 SDK now includes an ACR122T token-form reader in addition to the ACR122 full-sized reader. Aside from having sample codes and tools and utilities, developers can try the devices with the peer-to-peer demo simulating real-world NFC applications.
