Southern California watch enthusiasts are invited to a premier exhibition by the legendary Swiss watchmaker hosted by Leeds & Son Fine Jewelers in Palm Desert, CA, one weekend only, November 13-15, 2009.
Customers will have a rare opportunity to view a selection of both exhibition watches and some of the newer collection of watches for sale. The exhibition offers a journey through the past and the present of watchmaking. The timepieces exhibited embody some of Patek Philippe’s most stunning creations.
Included in the display will be a special showing of the 2009 Basel Collection, featuring the Annual Calendar Chronograph watch, which took over two years to produce. The patented Patek Philippe Annual Calendar, with selfwinding chronograph movement, is a full‐function calendar that automatically recognizes months with 30 and 31 days and when kept running only needs to be corrected by hand once a year on March 1. It displays the day, date, and month in three apertures and controls the day/night indicator at 6:00.
