The Unitied States allows citizens of the United States to bring their non-citizen fiance to the United States in order to marry. The process is completed through a petition to the United States wherein the United States citizen provides documentation and information from both parties and requests that the United States allow the non-citizen fiance to enter the United States to marry the United States citizen.
There are some requirements, the most important of which is that the couple must plan to marry within ninety (90) days of the non-citizen being allowed to enter the United States.
Once married, the non-citizen can change their status and get on the course to United States Citizenship. Of course, there are several requirements and procedures to follow in order to become a citizen so a competent attorney should be consulted.
