Truly Wize Organic Bakery's Gluten Free Organic Brownies on Rachael Ray Show

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 05, 2009 – A tried and true favorite, Truly Wize’s Gluten Free Organic Brownies have been selected to be profiled during the “Snack of the Day” segment on  ABC’s The Rachael Ray Show.  The segment on the nationally-syndicated talk show is scheduled to air on Friday November 6th 2009.  Star of her own syndicated talk show, an iconic Food Network television personality, best selling cookbook author and editor-in-chief of her own lifestyle magazine, Rachael Ray has become a sensation and is often credited with getting America back in the kitchen.

Chef/Proprietor Caren J Weaver launches her Gluten Free Organic Brownies, as a request of an old friend diagnosed with Celiac Disease.  Cindy pleaded, “please create something I can really enjoy-that’s gluten free and tastes good!”  Weaver recalls. Chef Weaver who is not gluten intolerant, found - the gluten free products currently on the market tasted different then their “gluten” counterparts. Therefore, she set out to create a gluten free product that resembled the real thing.  Which she did, in her moist, rich, decadent gluten free organic chocolate brownies. That even the producer’s of the Rachael Ray Show commented,” I would never have known these were gluten-free, they taste just like traditional brownies.”

One in 133 Americans, approximately 2 million people are diagnosed with Celiac Disease, while many more cases go undetected.  Celiac Disease is where the body cannot break down the gluten, a protein found in wheat, rye and barley.
