Nov. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- Goa, India -  After the successful W.O.A Records India Tour shows at Ravindhra Bhavan Goa on the 31st of October, Bangalore on the 1st and 2nd of November and Bogmallo Beach on the 4th of November the artists of the W.O.A Records India Tour 2009 are now all set to perform and enthrall music lovers in Pune and Mumbai on the 6th and 7th of November.

The unprecedented success of the W.O.A Records Annual International music tour is creating waves across the world where the story has hit the music industry of how a record label from Goa is changing the face of International music in India by bringing some of the worlds finest International breaking bands to India every year. W.O.A International started off a decade ago and is now India's largest International Independent music label which was founded by the music world's hot rocker and International musician Oliver Sean who hails from Goa and who has single handedly managed to conceptualize and fund the entire W.O.A Records India Tour for the past two years with the belief that Goa is the capital of International music in India and the strong belief that Independent artists can reach dizzying heights with the right support. This belief has now led to every top International Indie band wanting to sign on to the Goan Company W.O.A International.

"When I formed W.O.A International it was for the sole purpose of supporting great musicians who believe in themselves and who don't change their style for anyone and the idea of the W.O.A Records India Tour has been with me for years and started becoming a reality when I saw that we were leading up to becoming the largest International Independent Music label due to the number of fantastic artists that we were signing" says W.O.A International Founder and Rocker Oliver Sean, "due to the artists not being major stars we didn't really get any support from sponsors monetarily however we decided to throw caution to the wind last year and bring a number of artists down together who play different styles of music and promote them with a proper international tour setting because I have always believed that an artist has to tour and thats the only way to grow and at the same time I wanted music lovers in India to experience good International music the way it should be heard and thats hearing and watching it Live on stage".

Independent Music as a concept was brought about and promoted in India in a major way by W.O.A International. It was due to W.O.A's  strong network in the music industry in India that led the Independent artists signed to W.O.A Records to be promoted alongside major acts thus blurring lines between the majors and the indies. This in turn has brought about a change in the International music scene in India where music lovers in India are being introduced to fantastic artists from all over the world who are brought down here to India by W.O.A International and who are being promoted with full backing in form of record releases, video airplay on major channels, radio promotions which would otherwise be unreachable for an Independent artist to come about on his or her own.
