NORCROSS, Georgia – Ashworth College will make the holidays brighter for local families this year as it supports the endeavors of the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
In the days leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday, Ashworth administration and staff will donate non-perishable food items which the Atlanta Community Food Bank will in turn distribute to its more than 800 non-profit partner agencies. These agencies offer support to low-income families throughout Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
“As an educational institution, we appreciate the need for families to have all tools necessary to succeed --and sometimes that includes food and grocery items,” said Jeannie Brady, Ashworth Director of Human Resources. “The Ashworth staff is extremely excited to help.”
Throughout the year, Ashworth makes a concentrated effort to support worthwhile causes to include the Habitat for Humanity, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, and March of Dimes.
