The holiday season is often stressful for many families in need. With unemployment at 8.3% in Weld County alone, two local chiropractors are standing up to help. Drs. Dave and Nicole Solecki have jumped at the opportunity to bring a little joy to those children whose families are struggling. On November 20th, 14 kids from the local Boys and Girls Club who wouldn’t otherwise get a Thanksgiving dinner, are joining the Doctors and staff at Solecki Chiropractic and Acupuncture for a hot meal.
“We recognized the struggle in our community as an opportunity to give back. The Boys and Girls Club is a great resource for kids who don’t have a safe place to play or a hot meal to eat and we are excited to be helping them. We want to make sure these kids get a great turkey dinner this Thanksgiving,”
In a time when many people don’t know where their next meal is coming from, it is refreshing to have people like the Soleckis thinking of others. Solecki Chiropractic is also holding a food drive throughout November for the Weld County Food Bank. The office is encouraging all who want to give to drop any donations by the office.
