MINNEAPOLIS, MN – After 20 years of success and consistent growth, Eagle Mouldings of Maple Grove, Minnesota, is entering a new phase of development under the direction of new owners Thor Smith and Mike Kelly.
Eagle Mouldings’ core business – as a supplier of specialty aluminum trims and extrusions – will remain in tact. However, the new team intends to increase revenue and product breath significantly through a more sophisticated approach to sales, marketing and business management.
Currently, Eagle Mouldings provides a large variety of aluminum trims & extrusions to a broad range of industries, including:
• Commercial and retail building and remodeling contractors
• Commercial and residential architects and designers
• Woodworking and cabinet shops
• Display and signage manufacturing and installation companies
• Rescue vehicle manufacturers
• Municipalities, schools, and other governmental entities
• Railing, deck and fence builders

• Marine dock and boat lift manufacturers
• Awning manufacturing and installation companies
• Designers of Nostalgic ‘50s environments
“In Eagle Mouldings, we see a solid business model, with proven success, in an industry we feel demonstrates the potential for stable growth,” remarked Mr. Smith. “We expect increased use of aluminum as a sustainable building and manufacturing component.” Mr. Smith will focus primarily on operational aspects at Eagle Mouldings, leveraging his 17 years of experience in business development in a variety of industries.
In the meantime, Mr. Kelly’s primary objective will be to focus on improved customer service and communications. “Much of our success to date can be attributed to our responsiveness to our customers needs. We intend to strengthen customer relationships through effective communications, streamlining the purchase processes and providing assistance in all segments of the buying process of aluminum trims and extrusions.”
Thor Smith and Mike Kelly have been working closely with prior owner Lyle Schoelkoph to assure clients continue receiving the service they expect from Eagle Mouldings.
