Now a days there is an increase in the prevalence of chest diseases like Asthma, COPD,etc. The scene has also witnessed the arrival of relatively newer lung diseases to alarming proportions like IPF. Newer investigation modalities like bronchoscopy, HRCT have now come into the picture.The therapeutic modalities like mechanical ventilation, non invasive ventilator are now a routine in the field of respiratory medicine.
