For The 1st Year Of Its Operation Pharmaco Produced Medicines Worth Of 50mnl Soms

Nov. 5, 2009 - PRLog -- The only one largest pharmaceutical enterprise in Kyrgyz Republic - Pharmaco Group celebrates its first date of birth. Produced 2,5 millions units of final products is the result of the factory activity. As reported in the company, the first batch of its products entered to the medical institutions and drug stores in November, 2008.

Alexandr Karpov, the General Manager of Pharmaco Group LLC: “It was said by the president of our country K. Bakiev on the official opening of our factory one year ago, that starting of domestic pharmaceutical enterprise will become a highspot in sphere of drug provision in Kyrgyzstan. To my mind, we proved these words with deeds. For the last half of this year, Pharmaco Group has produced about 300 000 units of solid unsterile drugs and 200 000 units of sterile vials for injections. And these are not just simple drugs, because they were made using a unique technology and equipment that meets international standards”.

There was a press tour for journalists, which had an opportunity to see all stages of production in November 4. Media representatives have seen most part of the pharmaceutical complex territory: rooms where all materials are stored and final products are packaging and also rooms, where researches are conducting and archival specimens and laboratory glassware are keeping. In the end of this press tour, there was a press conference on the territory of the factory, were journalists asked all questions and Pharmaco Group leadership was glad to answer them.

Olga Romanovich, Marketing Manager of Pharmaco Group LLC: “Kyrgyz market of medicines is the market of import. According to the Department of the Ministry of Health Drug, 98% of medicines are imported from abroad: 36% from Russia, 10% from Germany, 9% from Ukraine, 6% from Hungary and India, 5% from Slovenia and so forth. Our factory keeps on developing the list of modern and demanded generics, taking into consideration Kyrgyzstan market needs and strictly following the worked out program of import substitution. Within the framework of this program, we are planning to replace expensive imported drugs with the production of domestic producer in our market and this is production of qualitative generics”.

For today, Pharmaco Group has produced 25 names of drugs which have their registration certificates. All Therapeutic and Prophylactic Institutions and drug stores of Kyrgyz Republic are supplied with medicines of domestic producer Pharmaco Group
