Ports of Greece and the Chinese company Cosco

A new strike between workers of Piraeus against the decision of the Government. Now with an involved Chinese Company.

Workers of port Piraeus have begun a new two-day protest against the decision of the Government of Greece.
This decision, which was accepted one year ago, transfers this port in control of Chinese company Cosco which was obliged to invest in modernization of port 3,4 billion Euro dissatisfied with this decision and hope that the government will understand their protest.
"After privatization two thirds of workers will be fired and will be on the street", - has declared the representative of trade union of port workers of Greece.
Many tourists who have visited Greece were dissatisfied with that there are delays with ferries. To get on islands http://www.go2greece-hotels.com/list-of-hotels.php/  tourists use ferries or airplanes.
Very often similar delays happen because of strikes of workers of the ports. This negatively affects economy of Greece and image of the country.
