"Defying Gravity" is the showstopper piece from the musical Wicked, composed by Stephen Schwartz, originally recorded by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth on November 10, 2003, and released on December 16, 2003. The song will be performed by Lea Michele and Chris Colfer on the FOX show, Glee, on November 11th. This recording has already been released, however, on Glee: The Music, Volume 1.
