To be clear about what Real MMA is all about, this is not about fighting. Our programs are about fitness, fun and life skills that make your child more focused and fit. For example, the young Lions Program is tailored to kids 4 and 5 years old who live in Monmouth County, NJ. This introductory course will allow your child to focus on development skills that promote coordination, learning skills, and personal discipline. Classes are taught in a positive and fun environment!
For older kids, our Jr. Kakutogi class is a great way to keep them sharp and active during the winter in NJ. Designed for kids 6 -9 and 10 -13, Kakutogi is the Japanese term for "Martial Sports". At Real Mixed Martial Arts, Jr. kakutogi teaches a well rounded blend of conditioning and martial arts for physical fitness, discipline, self protection, and Martial Sports. Jr Kakutogi members learn skills associated with Karate, Judo, and Wrsetling. This mixture keeps classes practical and fun with their variety and pace.

Jr Judo at Real Mixed Martial Arts teaches the Japanese art of throwing and ground work as practiced in the Olympics. Former National Level Japanese competitor Sumie Sakai, is the head instructor for this class. Sumie brings an elite knowledge of Judo to Real along with her always upbeat personality!
