Designed by Golden Arrows, the letters in the Kentucky Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty's (KCADP) logo overlap, emphasizing that the group is a coalition of people throughout the commonwealth. While our reasons for favoring abolition of the death penalty may differ, we work together to achieve this common goal.
See the new logo at http://kcadp.org.
The logo also is a modern take on the scales of justice: the six bars balanced on the A represent each of the six reasons KCADP has for abolishing the death penalty:
-it’s costly
-it’s out of step with modern thinking
-it’s risky
-it’s unfair, broken, and arbitrary
-it’s unnecessary
-victims’ families deserve more care and compassion
The Kentucky Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (KCADP), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation founded in 1987, consists of individuals and organizations working to end the death penalty in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
