Technical trends of livestock production in Asia

“Although Asia’s livestock production has been negatively impacted by the global economic crisis, the setback is not as deep as Europe’s or America’s. The USDA is forecasting broiler meat production to recover in 2009. Sales prices may decline, but margins have been somewhat protected by declines in freight rates and grain prices which have offset losses.
