Nov 04, 2009 – InCharge Debt Solutions, a leading nonprofit credit counseling organization based in Orlando, will join an impressive list of sponsors in support of the “Southeast Regional Student Leadership Conference — Empowered Latino Leaders: Count Me In!” The event is being hosted by the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI) and will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Hotel, November 6-7, 2009.
In addition to InCharge Debt Solutions (http://www.InCharge.org), supporting organizations include the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), Southwest Airlines, The Walt Disney Company, University of Phoenix, and Verizon Foundation. InCharge Debt Solutions will present two workshops on effective money management on Saturday, November 7, 2009, from 10:00 a.m.-11:15 a.m., and 2:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m. The presentations are designed to teach high school students in grades 9-12 about the responsible use of money and credit. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Juan Andrade, Jr., President of USHLI, who will make his remarks on Saturday at lunchtime beginning at noon. Closing the event will be Mr. Andres Lara, known as “The Cuban Guy,” a motivational speaker who is renowned for presenting simple, yet profound life-altering messages and stories.
