Having been diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer only 1 year ago, 40 year old mother of two, Sam Corti, radically changed her lifestyle adopting a macrobiotic approach to her diet by cutting out dairy, meat, and sugar and embarking on a daily ritual of consuming up to 5 cups of fresh Japanese Sencha green tea – Japanese green tea being the richest source of EGCG.  “My tumor shrank miraculously within a 4 week period leading up to Surgery” Sam Corti reports “it was an incredible thing to be out of surgery after only 4 hours instead of 11 and without the colostomy bag that I  was definitely going to have to have”.  She goes on “several consultants couldn’t believe their eyes and kept coming up to me asking what I had been doing as it was such a miracle.  One senior consultant at Addenbrooke’s (Cambridge) hospital actually stated that she had similarly witnessed an ovarian tumor shrink by 37% in a lady that had started drinking green tea prior to her surgery”
