The Bean Coffee Company coffee roasters has found a way to capture high antioxidant levels in its fresh roasted organic coffee.
So much has been written about antioxidants and their benefits, that I could not ignore all of these claims. One of my favorite sources is dark chocolate, but my daughter (who is a health nut) pointed out that candy bars might not be the best source for my daily intake, given the possibility of over indulgence and weight gain. There are also juices that are rich in antioxidants, but they are very thick, sweet, and frankly a little expensive to keep on hand and drink every day.
Finally, the news was out that there is such a thing as healthy coffee and that it is a main source of antioxidants in the American diet was great news to our family. What could be easier? We start every day with a cup or two of coffee and later we have a latte’ that we make at home.
On the internet, I discovered a delicious coffee that claims to have 500% more CGA (chlorogenic acid), naturally occurring, in its organic beans than you find in other favorite brands such as Starbucks and Peet’s coffee. “The Bean Coffee Company” has found a way to capture high antioxidant levels in its fresh roasted organic coffee and has been found to be the best antioxidant you can get. So I bought a few packages so I could try different blends. Our favorite is their Espresso Coffee Blend because it not only makes a delicious, quality espresso shot, but it also makes a very smooth and rich coffee in our drip coffee maker.
I’m not sure that all the claims about antioxidants are true, but enough has been written about them that I’m willing to pay attention and, at least find an easy way to get my daily jolt. “The Bean Coffee Company” makes a superior tasting coffee and I plan to continue drinking it with the knowledge that it has to be better for me than all that dark chocolate. I can order it on-line, so it will always be here and fresh, unlike the coffee that sits on the grocery shelves.
