Lost Coast Explorer

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Nov 04, 2009 – The Lost Coast Explorer, an Alaskan 100 ft vessel owned by Chris Palle, has managed to exploit its clients funds by selling access to some of Panama's natural resources, by providing activities like surfing, diving and fishing around the world heritage site of Coiba Island in the Republic of Panama. This has lead to a large private income for the ownership of The Lost Coast Explorer, a solution to a bad legal situation in Alaska and little to no benefit for the Panamanian economy.

It almost seems like the world has not change since the times of Colonization. The picture shows that pirates are still around! Chris Palle's legal problems have managed to force him into the search of new horizons and safety.

The Alaskan News Reported

"Chris Palle owner and Alaskan operator of Shoreline Charters, has been charged with 18 counts, 16 counts of aiding in the commission of a violation of State guiding law, 2 counts of violations of transporter activity reports".

There are rumors that Chris Palle had been analyzing the Panamanian market since early 2000. The Panamanian friendly culture opened doors to his operations revealing the secrets of the Panamanian "Lost Coast". After some time, Chris was able to polish and master the revealed secret navigation routes of some of the best fishing, surfing and diving in the world. It did not take long for Chris to turn his back on the Panamanians who had shown him the secrets. Panamanians seem to no longer welcome the Lost Coast Explorer around Panamanian waters.

According to natives in the Santa Catalina region the LCE has been fishing illegally in the National Park of Coiba and not  paying the anchorage fees either. It seems like Mr. Palle is taking the money to pay his fees in the U.S.

Hotel owners in Santa Catalina recommend tourist to not spend thousands of dollars on staying on the boat "any tourist seen on that vessel will not be welcomed" said a local hotel owner. Furthermore, they exposed that sleeping on the boat is not a necessity.

Here is what some previous workers of the boat had to say:

Said: "Chris barely moves this boat, he makes it look like a big deal, it takes clients from hotels using his boat as a sleeping facility only, does not want to burn fuel and that is why they use smaller boats for the day trips and we do the same from the hotels in Catalina"

We asked: How do you feel when you see the Lost Coast Explorer?

Said: "This boat is not welcomed here, in Coiba, Montijo Bay or anywhere in Panama. We feel like they have gave the back on us and now making all the money at no cost".

It seems like Mr. Palle's unethical business techniques such as illegal sport fishing in the Coiba National Park will not take him very far. Tourist are technically paying for his freedom and supporting his nature of illegal hunting, this time is in Panama! It is clear that the surf, dive and fishing can be executed from different regions of Panama such as Santa Catalina and Mariato for less than the high fees you would be paying to Chris and Lost Coast Explorer or, his Lost Cost Exploiter.
