Chapel Hill, N.C. – Jennings president and chief executive officer, Dan Dunlop, was the featured speaker today at the Small Business Roundtable of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s Roundtables are non-competitive forums of business owners and managers who meet monthly to discuss a variety of business issues and concerns.
Dunlop addressed methods for effectively marketing a business during a recession. Attendees learned about high-impact, low-cost tactics for keeping their business visible to customers during a recession, including the use of public relations and social media. Consumer engagement was a major theme throughout the talk. Dunlop also provided tips on media planning and ways to avoid fragmenting an advertising budget.
