The economic environment has forced technology vendors to forego hiring an SE, while others have lost SE resources due to reductions in force.

VirtualSE™ is available on a short- or long-term contract basis. Fees are determined by the scope of work and the number of SE resources required. Straightline also plans to offer the VirtualSE™ as a subscription service, or "SEaaS".
