FESCO Direct LLC Wind Energy has announced it desire to locate and arrange purchase of used wind turbines and parts being decommissioned from wind farms and other wind operations. Specific models of interest include but are not limited to: Vestas, Nordtank, Micon, Bonus, and Enertech. Desired systems sizes include 10kW – 2MW systems and will preferably be unremanufactured or “As Is”.
All sizes and systems will be considered and both remanufactured and un-remanufactured systems will be considered. Incomplete systems, towers, non working systems and other used or unused parts and components will also be considered for purchase. Wind systems need not be currently out of service for consideration.
FESCO Direct LLC Wind Energy under the direction of Jason Jacobs is quickly becoming a clearinghouse of used wind equipment and parts. Jacobs announced the decision via conference with investors and other interested parties saying “Due to the overwhelming response to our existing inventory of used turbines, we have decided to move forward with procuring more sources and suppliers to meet the demands of our customers. We have been inundated with customers all over the globe seeking used turbines in as-is condition or remanufactured.”
The company currently has buyers awaiting immediate purchase of wind turbines and parts that meet their needs. Wind systems, parts and components not qualifying for immediate purchase will be cataloged by FESCO Direct at no cost to the seller. Cataloged systems become part of FESCO Directs used equipment directory which the company markets to known purchasers of wind energy equipment.
