In the presence of an august audience the logo was launched to the tempo of Sri Lankan drum beats and the logo was ceremoniously unveiled by the Chairman of DGES/ MD/CEO of Colombo Dockyard, Mr Mangala P B Yapa with the participation of the New Chairman of Colombo Dockyard Mr Akihiko Nakauchi and former Chairman Mr Shinichi Tatabe on the gracious invitation by Mr T G Weerasignhe, General Manager DGES.
