Nov. 4, 2009 - PRLog -- SimulationExams.com has recently released a revised version of CCNA 640 802 practice tests with network simulator. Cisco CCNA is intended for candidates who have some experience in configuration and maintaining local and wide area networks using routers, switches, and hubs. The practice tests offered by SimulationExams include 300+ questions that provide a simulated test environment for candidates and facilitate taking final exam with confidence.

The network simulator offers virtual network environment, wherein the candidates can practice on a virtual router/switch network. Several network labs are provided for beginners.

The advantages of a simulated exam are:

- Ability to gauge one's preparedness to take actual certification exam
- To prepare for the exam objectives thoroughly from a different perspective (from the study guides)
- To familiarize oneself with actual exam environment (such as timed test, lab practice, scenario based questions, etc.)

A two-track option is also available for passing Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). This option consists of Cisco CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician), and CCNA ICND2. To achieve CCNA, one need to pass both CCENT (also known as CCNA ICND1), and the CCNA ICND2 exams. The single exam path is recommended for candidates who have sufficient experience in networking. Cisco certification is generally valid for 3 years, and candidates are expected to renew certifications by taking renewal exam. CCNA is the foundation certification for taking CCDA, CCNP and other professional level exams.
