The band recently finished production of its debut EP, “The Guilty Pleasures Prototype”, which was independently released in August of 2009. The EP collectively encapsulates Tactylics' musical style. Conceptually, the mood is dark, as songwriter Ranzo's first three songs share a theme of inner conflict over ill-fated, yet addictive relationships. The remixes showcase the versatility of these songs, as well as Tactylics' cross-genre abilities. As part of the 2009 fall and winter tour promoting the EP, Tactylics will be performing two major shows in November and December in New York City.
The National Underground, 11/7 at 11pm.
Co-owned by Joey and Gavin Degraw, The National Underground will be the venue for Tactylics' first show this fall. They will be giving you a sneak preview of what's to come for the holiday show in December (details below), showcasing some new songs and new tricks. Details and tix available at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/
Blender Theatre at Gramercy 12/19. Doors open at 7pm.
