It can help at the track or in the garage with easy solutions to help figure out how to make vehicles perform better and how to predict the results of changes in everything from engine displacement and compression ratio to weather, tire sizes and gear ratios.
     At the track, racers can see how weather and elevation will affect their times so they can instantly predict dial-ins using current track conditions. They can predict Elapsed Time and top speed for 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile runs. Inputs for track conditions include temperature, pressure, humidity, and elevation; inputs for the race vehicle include vehicle weight, horse power, frontal area, and drag coefficient.
