New Adult Oral Conscious Sedation CE Program Approved by Dental Board of California

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 03, 2009 – The Dental Board of California has approved a New Adult Oral Conscious Sedation Course by Conscious Sedation Consulting. This course has been developed and is based on years of scientific research and experience by anesthesiologists.  This course is appropriate for general dentists who wish to obtain an Adult Oral Conscious Sedation Permit in the state of California. The company is currently an approved continuing education provider by The California Dental Board and many other states.

This course is comprised of information that will assist general dentist in reaching a larger patient population and help them to further advance their skills.  Some areas covered are; patient assessment, physiological monitoring, pharmacology / pharmacokinetics of sedative and inhalational agents and combinations, selection of the right patient, agent and route along with adverse event prevention and emergency management.

The three day course includes an age appropriate clinical demonstration as required by the board.  This course is being presented in San Francisco CA on November 20, 21 & 22, 2009 and in San Diego CA on January 15, 16 & 17, 2010 Los Angeles CA on June 10, 11 & 12. 2010.
