FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Nov 03, 2009 – ATLANTA, GA – Document Technologies, Inc. (DTI), the nation’s largest independent provider of legal support services and document outsourcing, announced today their sponsorship of the upcoming educational session titled, “Ideas and Concepts for Billing and Collecting for Litigation Support Services” to be hosted by the Columbia, South Carolina chapter of the Association of Litigation Support Professionals (ALSP). The event is being held on November 11, 2009 at 1333 Main Street, Columbia, SC.

The session is being presented by training manager Erika Santiago of LitWorks™, a DTI Company, the first and most comprehensive organization dedicated to developing and sharing best practices in the litigation support industry. The session will include an overview of trends and guidelines and offer best practices for billing and collecting fees for litigation support services. The topic of billing and collection has become increasingly important for litigation support departments that are seeing escalating costs associated with litigation discovery, largely the result of ever-growing data collections that require acquisition, processing and review.

Santiago is a recognized leader in litigation support training, and LitWorks is among the industry’s premier providers of formal training courses specifically developed for litigation support professionals. The company offers certified courses for litigation support, litigation support management, and project management.

DTI delivers a full range of electronic data discovery solutions including data collection, processing, Web hosting, and review, along with traditional paper-based litigation support services and comprehensive facilities management services at locations throughout the U.S.

To register for this event, contact ALSP representatives Tim Thames (tthames@mcnair.net) or Brandon Anderson (bkanderson@DTIglobal.com).
