McMillen Communications Saves Clients $30,000 with Co-Mingling Agreement with Pitney Bowes Presort

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 03, 2009 – McMillen Communications, Inc. (MC), a magazine fulfillment and mail shop company based in Stafford, TX, has entered into an agreement with Pitney Bowes Presort Services to allow Pitney Bowes to co-mingle all of McMillen Communications' USPS Standard Mail. This collaboration provides direct mail postage savings and improved postal delivery times to McMillen Communications and their customers.

McMillen Communications is responsible for handling over 250,000 pieces of monthly Standard Mail. Pitney Bowes allows McMillen Communications to save on their postage by co-mingling their mail with the 9 million daily pieces of Standard Mail that is processed by Pitney Bowes. Pitney Bowes optimized network also allows for mail to be delivered to more BMC’s and SCF’s – enabling faster delivery to homes.

On average, McMillen customers can expect a savings of approximately $.01 per piece as a result of this new collaboration. Collectively, this can amount to more than $2,500 each month. The rapid delivery of mail can result in faster customer response times – equating to improved cash flow and less inventory waste.
