FaxBack VoIP Fax Server Fully Interoperable with pbxnsip IP PBX, SIP Server

pbxnsip announce full interoperability with FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion VoIP (Fax-over-IP) fax server product line and their Free VoIP Plug-in for Microsoft Fax offering.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Nov 03, 2009 – Boston USA and Leeds UK  – pbxnsip, a leader in SIP-based IP PBX software for Microsoft Windows, MAC and Linux environments, today announced full interoperability with FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion VoIP (Fax-over-IP) fax server product line and their Free VoIP Plug-in for Microsoft Fax offering. FaxBack® is a leading provider of reliable VoIP fax solutions for SMB, enterprise and carrier applications. pbxnsip and FaxBack’s combined support for the SIP T.38 IP fax standard is the major component of this successful relationship. Partner feedback concerning the need for comprehensive T.38 platform support for fax has inspired this new FaxBack interoperability and compatibility integration.

Combining pbxnsip with FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion fax server enables customers to cost effectively migrate to Fax-over-IP, gain flexible integration options, and eliminate the need to purchase and maintain premise based VoIP gateways or dedicated fax hardware. pbxnsip uses its own next generation technology to efficiently pass through the fax transmission.

FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion fax server fully supports fax machines, offering complete fax-machine-to-fax-server integration; extending all fax server capabilities and benefits to individual fax machines -by making the fax machine a direct client of the fax server.  Fax images (sent from fax machines) are fully archived logged and tracked and may be routed into business workflows and document management systems.  This feature extends the usefulness of existing fax machine assets and facilitates regulatory compliance requirements like HIPAA, Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX), and corporate document governance requirements.

In addition, FaxBack’s award winning Free “VoIP Plug-in for Microsoft Fax” enables pbxnsip customers to use “Windows Fax and Scan” in conjunction with their pbxnsip solution. This free VoIP plug-in provides desktop users with core print-to-fax functionality and the ability to send, receive and archive faxes from the desktop. For organizations that require the extended features of a fax server, the VoIP plug-in offers an easy migration path to any of FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion fax server products. The plug-in The “VoIP Plug-in for Microsoft Fax” is free to download at FaxBack’s website.

“I'm very happy to announce the interoperability success with FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion fax server product line. It hasn’t been easy finding the right product to compliment pbxnsip T.38 support but I feel that we have been very lucky in finding such a high calibre of product with FaxBack. It’s been surprising to me, to see the growth of pbxnsip in such an economic climate as we are seeing! Maybe this is because we are extremely focused on leading the IP PBX market in 2009 and with professional services supporting our customers and developing products that can work with companies such as FaxBack we will be much better equipped to handle the next steps of our plans to expand into other areas!. ”, commented Kevin Moroz COO at pbxnsip Inc.

"The response we're seeing across the SMB and enterprise marketplace to NET SatisFAXtion and our new Fax VoIP Plug-in is tremendous, because it turns one of the last hurdles for adopting a new VoIP phone system - reliable VoIP-Fax - into a simple convenience that improves productivity and saves money," said Quentin Dible, Vice President of Operations for FaxBack. "pbxnsip is one of the clear leaders in the SMB VoIP space, and we're thrilled to work with them to share our VoIP-fax capabilities with their user base."
