By: Jojo Robles After a grueling local competition and besting hundreds of singing hopefuls all around the world, Radjie Zaragoza from McDonald’s Daraga, Albay and Chenee Capuyan from McDonald’s Damosa, Davao City are now in the running to represent not only their stores but the country in the 2010 Global Voice of McDonald’s in Orlando, Florida. Last year, the Philippines’ Both Zaragoza and Capuyan are winners of the local Voice of McDonald’s competition held last August at the Star Theatre, Pasay City. Zaragoza, won 2nd runner up while Capuyan took home top honors as the local Voice of McDonald’s champion. Now on its second leg of competition, the Voice of McDonald’s has selected 30 semi-finalists from Latin America, Europe, US/Canada, Asia Pacific and Middle East. The semifinalists are slated to compete with each other via online poll voting. Each semifinalist will upload a performance song and video to showcase their vocal prowess and talent to a worldwide audience- the top 12 who garner the most number of online votes will battle it out in the McDonald’s 2010 Worldwide Convention in Florida for the $25,000 prize and become the global Voice of McDonald’s Grand Champion.
