Socially Responsible Investing Panel

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 03, 2009 – The panel will discuss Socially Responsible Investing, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Environmental, Social and Governance Investing.  Currently, there are 2 confirmed panelists.

William Michael Cunningham will discuss the history of Socially Responsible Investing, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Environmental, Social and Governance Investing.

Marc Lane will discuss a recently passed Illinois law that will allow for-profit companies that primarily pursue social enterprise goals to incorporate under a new form: as a a limited-liability, low-profit company or L3C. The "low-profit" terminology means that the pursuit of profit is not the primary function of the company.

About the speakers:
