Nov. 3, 2009 - PRLog -- The biggest bother about hands-free devices is their hunger for power.  So while the car's power-plug is overloaded with mobile devices, the Avantalk Sunday Pro gets its power from the sun.  It also charges off of the computer or car charger via micro USB port, but solar power is just one of the Sunday Pro’s advantages over other mobile hands-free car kits.
The Sunday Pro, made by Avantronics, will MSRP for under 99 U.S. dollars and is well-made and well-designed in compliance with U.S. product standards.  It comes equipped with text-to-speech capabilities that announce a caller by their phone number so that drivers won't have to look away from the road to answer a call.

The Sunday Pro is an industry-award finalist in CTIA’s Tech Awards and is ready for distribution to the U.S. market.  Receiving praise from foreign markets worldwide, the company is confident that the response from the U.S. will be as positive.

WDM Editor’s Review: Works great.

-     Pairing & Text-To-Speech: This device is easy to pair.  The Sunday Pro uses voice prompt instructions, which provides the pairing code if needed by your mobile handset.  Pairing it to a Verizon Voyager did not require a code but did require placing the phone in discovery mode. The caller name will be announced with an incoming call so user no need to move their eyes fromt he road.

-     Sound: Caller is very clear sounding and sound from other end is reported as clear as well.

-     Design: The construction is sturdy, sleek and good-looking. The large button works well but may require new users a bit of getting used to.  Push once activated my phone’s voice commands, twice for redial or hang-up, press and hold for power on and off.

Avantronics is an electronics developer/manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China and supplies 22 countries worldwide. They are already working with five of the top product distributors in Europe, but are actively seeking distribution for the U.S. market.

The company recently attended and exhibited at CTIA to find U.S. distributors for their products including the award winning Avantalk(TM) Sunday Pro.  “We also have lots of other innovative products,” says Phoebe Yi, Avantronics’ product marketing manager.  “The Avantalk BTSP200 - Bluetooth stereo speaker for mobile and PC use, can also be used as a conference speaker for home office. We also have the Avantalk Trex pro, which is a noise canceling dual mic Bluetooth headset.”

Avantalk(TM) Sunday Pro is part of Avontronic's Bluetooth product line-up.  "Our customers benefit from the best quality-to-cost ratio they can get from China."
