FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) –
Nov 03, 2009 – A few months ago a mom on one of the social networking sites stated that she was tired of celebrity families with special needs children being in the limelight - when were they going to look at everyday families. While celebrity involvement is greatly appreciated many people shared this same view. So I volunteered to start sharing their stories. The magazine has been online since November 2007 but this summer we took a new road.
Instead of being completely focused on Autism we branched out to include other areas of special needs such as CP, Down's Syndrome, Epilepsy. Most of our children were experiencing multiple diagnoses even my own son. Since then many parents have shared their stories and photos with us and those that regularly visit the site. We have an appreciation for parents, caregivers, siblings, extended family and professionals who deal with challenges on a daily basis from acceptance and awareness to treatment options and services. I have seen many groups online torn apart by differences so I do try to present all sides, its only fair. Many of our families have developed at home businesses which helps them be home with their child(ren). We talk about those too. We appreciate businesses that show their support by participating in out Service Provider and Business Directory. It shows parents looking for services who is out there supporting the cause. I went through several directories with larger organizations to find them all outdated so I began this venture. We want to become a non profit and provider support to families in anyway we can. Visit our Wishing Well page to see if their is a child, family or smaller non profit you can help directly!!! Thank you please visit www.hopemagazineonline.com anytime and share the link!!!
