A new caped crusader has arrived on the crime scene and he can determine your guilt or innocence just by looking at your hair.

When hair grows, it absorbs special markers called fatty acid ethyl esters (FAEEs) and ethyl glucuronide (EtG) which remain in the stands of hair indefinitely. These markers are only produced when there is alcohol in the bloodstream. The more markers there are, the more alcohol the person has consumed.
A similar marking process occurs in the hair when certain types of drugs are taken.
