Collectibles and Men
When it comes to collecting things, it is a take by surprise that men are as meticulous as the women. It has been a known fact that men be in love with collectibles, from the coolest G.I. Joe figurines to the most wonderful cars in the land. Women are not the only ones who love collecting things, and the men demonstrate that collecting toys and other memorabilia are a part of the lifestyle of the new millennium man.
Those with extra disposable income get to complete a collection of toys that are on occasion valued hundreds or even thousands of dollars. For a hobby, collectibles are such an expensive option. Why do men collect toys, even when they are already very old?
One of the most popular things men collect is action figures. May it be those little green toy soldiers, or those highly specialized Transformers robots, men just have developed an addiction for them. A startling fact is that men buy these toys, but they never take the toys from the boxes. For them, removing a new toy from its box is tantamount to taking away its inherent value.
Most men believe this, although there are other men who desire not to believe this rule, and go on to play with their toys. They argue that the purpose of the toys is for them to play with it. If they keep these collectibles inside the boxes, then they are not giving justice to the toys.
Whatever side you believe in, one thing is for sure: Collectible items are a huge part of a man’s life no matter how old he is.
