Poricy Park Conservancy Announces Dates For 22nd Annual Holiday Shop

MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Poricy Park Conservancy will hold its 22nd Annual Holiday Shop featuring beautiful handcrafted items and gifts of Poricy Park members.
The Holiday Shop will run daily Friday, November 27 through Sunday, December 6, 2009; and on Friday, December 11 through Sunday, December 13, 2009, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The event is made possible through the efforts of volunteers of Poricy Park and members of Rebecca Reel Quilters of Poricy Park.
Handcrafted items include ornaments, quilts, stockings, jewelry and so much more from members of the Park. This is a popular event for the Park and items sell out fast – so be sure to come early! A portion of the proceeds from the event are donated to Poricy Park. This is one of our major fundraising events of the year.
The Nature Center Gift Shop will be open extra hours on Sunday, December 13th, 1 pm to 3 pm (regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm). Stumped about what to put into those Christmas stockings? Need to find quality low priced gifts to give loved ones? Come visit our gift shop and choose from numerous unique nature and colonial items to fill those needs! Walking Sticks, Handcrafted from our own fallen branches, Fossilized Shark’s Teeth- Big and Small, Bird See, Franklin the Iguana T-shirts, mouse pads & dog tags for humans!...and so much more!
The Poricy Park Conservancy is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization located in Middletown Township. With exceptional ecological resources, the 250 acre historical and nature site makes it one of the largest nature preserves in Monmouth County. The Park offers recreational activities such as magnificent wooded hiking trails, bird watching, pristine pond settings, fishing, and a one-of-a-kind 70 million year-old Cretaceous fossil bed.
