Innovations Radio has hit the airwaves – the cyber airwaves. The half hour talk show format program helps people to look and feel their best. Hosted by Plano facial plastic surgeon Dr. D.J. Verret, the main segment of the show features interviews with local, national, and international experts in the field of plastic surgery, nutrition, fitness, and wellness medicine.
During the initial segment of the show, Dr. Verret recaps current headlines in the world of health and wellness medicine. The majority of the show is dedicated to interviews with the guests. Listeners are encouraged to e-mail questions and those which are received during the live broadcast are answered at the end of the half hour. All questions received outside of the normal broadcast are answered during the one show a month which is dedicated to answering listener e-mails.
The show streams live every Wednesday night at 6:30pm central time and podcasts are published within 24 hours. Listeners can subscribe using multiple methods including through the iTunes podcast store. Podcasts are also archived and available for listening online or for download at the Innovations Radio web site.
“The program offers a unique opportunity for listeners to learn about the latest in health and wellness from national experts in the field,” comments Dr. Verret. “By allowing listeners to directly ask questions of our guests, even after they are on the program, we are able to open up a whole new dimension of education for patients.”
During the first month of broadcasts, Dr. Verret has interviewed naturopathic Dr. Kimberly Wilson, Missouri facial plastic surgeon and former AAFPRS President Keith LaFerriere, and Dallas facial plastic surgeon and former AACS President Jim Gilmore. Upcoming guests include Dr. Robert Adelson from the University of Florida, founder of realself.com Tom Seery, and Plano plastic surgeon Dr. Ronald Friedman.
