William Blanchard, CPL,CPS,CAL Receives National Accreditation

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 02, 2009 – Dallas, TX - William Blanchard, CPL,CPS,CAL, or Portland, OR recently was awarded the designation of Certified Automotive Locksmith (CAL) by the Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), Based in Dallas, Texas.

The CAL credential provides an objective measure of an individual's knowledge and competency in automotive locksmithing.

In order to earn this credential, William Blanchard, CPL, CPS, CAL, had to comply with stringent eligibility requirements, Including demonstrating that he had met certain education and work experience qualifications. He then had to pass a comprehensive examination that tested his knowledge and skills in major areas of automotive locksmithing.

In order to maintain this credential, William Blanchard, CPL, CPS, CAL, must apply for recertification every three years, at which time he must submit evidence of continuing professional development.  This requirement is instituted in order to maintain proficiency and credibility.

The ALOA Proficiency Registration Program (PRP) was introduced in 1985, and William Blanchard, CPL,CPS,CAL is one of the first physical security professionals to achieve this level and recognize its value.

William Blanchard, CPL, CPS, CAL, is employed by A-MAX Security Solutions, Inc. in Portland, OR, and is a 9 year member of the Associated Locksmiths of America.


The Proficiency Registration Program (PRP) of ALOA is charged with improving the practice of locksmithing through the testing and certification of security professionals who have met prescribed standards of performance, knowledge, and conduct.
