Local software development firm, CompleteMember Systems, has recently signed a new services contract with the New Boston (Texas) Chamber of Commerce. Services to be provided include: the development of a new website utilizing the firm’s CompleteMember web-based software with full QuickBooks integration, member management, and on-going website content management.
Deborah Cook, Executive Director of the New Boston Chamber of Commerce, approached CompleteMember Systems as a result of her frustration with the staff time investment required to update simple information on the Chamber’s website including events and member information. During the last 3 years she and the Chamber have worked with three different website management systems in an attempt to resolve these issues, with each system failing to meet expectations. According to Cook, “Being the only full-time staff member of the Chamber, I was very frustrated with the amount of time required to update the most basic website information. When I learned about the CompleteChamber software via Twitter, I knew we had to take a look at it to see if it could really do all that the company promised!”
CompleteMember Systems was able to show Cook how their system could be utilized to save thousands of dollars in annual administration costs, as well as to generate additional advertising revenue for the cash-strapped Chamber.
Work has recently begun on this project which is scheduled for completion in January, 2010.
