The ClubCorp Charity Classic will kick off with a tennis tournament on Sunday, followed by a golf tournament on Tuesday. Players can enjoy several games of tennis, proceeded by an awards luncheon. Golfers can tee off and compete for a variety of prizes at several contests held during the tournament including a putting contest, long drive contest and closest to the pin contest. The golf tournament will wrap up with an awards presentation and lunch at the country club.
Last year’s Classic donated more than $10,000 to charity. “The entire ClubCorp Employee Partner Team takes pride in hosting an event that will give back to our communities,”
Tournament sponsors include Scott Willett/Willett Honda South and David Hurd/Fenner Dunlop. “Willett Honda South is pleased to lend its support to this charity event,” said Scott Willett, president of Willett Honda South. “ClubCorp has organized a wonderful two-day fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, nationally, and the Spivey Station for Breast Cancer Awareness, locally, where tennis players and golfers can come out and enjoy themselves at one of Atlanta’s best golf and tennis Clubs.”
“As a sponsor of the ClubCorp Charity Classic, it’s an honor for Fenner Dunlop to be associated with their efforts to help raise funds to find a cure for and raise awareness about muscular dystrophy and breast cancer,” said David Hurd, divisional director, international strategic sales, Fenner Dunlop.
The registration deadline is Nov. 6. Fees for the tennis tournament are $50 per person. Fees for the golf tournament are $90 per person or $300 per team (made up of four players). For more information and to register for the tournament, visit http://www.clubcorpcharityclassic.com/
