Stead & Simpson/Shoe Zone Opens in St John’s Shopping Centre

PR Log (Press Release) – Nov 02, 2009 – Following the temporary closure of Shoe Zone in St John’s Shopping Centre a few weeks ago, St John’s Shopping Centre has announced that the store is to re-open this week as two combined stores: Stead & Simpson and Shoe Zone.  
Stead & Simpson was purchased by Shoe Zone early in 2008, it is one of the oldest, most well-known and respected names in the British footwear industry.  
The store, which will be situated at the entrance to the High Street Mall, and is the sixth new store opening in St John’s Shopping Centre in the last month.

Siobhan McConnell, St John’s Shopping Centre manager, commented, “We are pleased to welcome Stead & Simpson to the mall and, of course, to welcome back Shoe Zone. Both brands are well known and popular with visitors to the shopping centre and we’re certain this will add greater choice and variety to the shopping centre’s retail offering.”
