Awake hynposis:
"Awake hypnosis" has very little in common with the traditional hypnosis aimed on commanding a human by the hypnotist.
In "awake hypnosis" the patient is constantly aware and has a consciuos contact with the doctor. He cooperates with him to fight the illness controlling himself completely at the same time.
Eliminating stress effects:
(M. Polykowski’s alter-concentration method)
M. Polykowski’s alter-concentration sessions are a complex way of influencing both conscious and unconscious structures of patient’s mind, body and will. Their aim is to eliminate the symptoms of stress or an illness and a deep relax, which is unachievable with traditional methods.
Program stages:
- Eliminating negative effects of stress factors. Restoration of normal sleep, reduction of inner tension, life energy rush.
- Creating a stable psychic state. Nervous system stabilisation, better efficiency of other organs and systems.
- Better body and mind resistance to negative stress factors, including possible addictions.
The programme is carried out in 2-3 two-week sessions suited to clients time schedule.
Behaviour and traits that make us prone to stress:
- Perfectionism – a perfectionist concentrates on details and is afraid of leaving any place for risk. Doesn’t accept any mistakes, and suffers heavily from defeats and failures.
- Being unable to delegate tasks – many people think they are irreplaceable, and that only they can complete successfully any task. This leads to task build-up and delays.
- Unrealistic image of self – people who have low self-esteem want to seem to be more valuable to others at all costs. Their image depends on professional success or money, so they continuously set new, unachievable goals.
- Trust only in oneself – people who think they have to control everything around them often fall victim to success.
- Being disorganised – organising time is vital, as chaos of tasks and duties is one of the causes of stress.
Stress symptoms:
- Headache, backache, pain in the neck
- Higher pulse rate
- High blood pressure
- Stomach-ache, which disappears after a meal or medical treatment
- Susceptibility to infections like flu, common cold, etc.
- Insomnia
- Nicotine, alcohol, sedatives abuse
- Digestive problems
- Irritability, concentration problems
- Small but common accidents (cutting, dropping items, hitting furniture etc.)
If you notice the symptoms mentioned above it is possible that you suffer from too much stress and there is a high risk of an illness.
Untamed stress is like a snowball rolling down a hill – small in the beginning grows bigger and bigger with every turn. Stress can harm not only human psychic, but also has a detrimental effect on the body.
