HHOTek evolved from manufacturing and successfully selling on-demand hydrogen systems. As often happens with good ideas, Trevor Hunter-HHO Tek owner tells us, certain government agencies regarded the modification of emission systems as a violation of law. Trevor maintains and offers testing results that what they were doing, was actually making the cars exceed minimum requirements. It was still not legal. So they discontinued the system and focused on diesel, until they were approached by another small company National Fuel Saver, NFS has been manufacturing a system for over 30 years which has a documented success in lowering emissions and increasing mileage. HHO Tek took over marketing and sales of their products and is currently in negotiations regarding the purchase of the technology patents.
Trevor explained that he decided to try a different approach to marketing rather than using nationwide independent dealers. He instead chose to enlist the help of a few veteran salespeople and began building the “HHO Tek infrastructure”
They are also involved in $50+ million deal with a city here in the US which Trevor would not reveal at this time, however, he assured us, “ within just a few weeks, all will be revealed”.
So we had ask, just what is all the hype about? Well it surrounds the HHO Tek Platinum Injection system and the HHO Tek Oil Refiner. The platinum system is a fuel saving device that the company guarantees will improve a gas vehicle’s mileage by 22% or your money back, the diesel counterpart also has a money back guarantee but according to Trevor, due to the variances of mileage increases they do not place a percentage guarantee on it. It is simply if you are not happy with it, return it for a refund. Trevor said they have about a 3% return rate considering the 600,000+ units that have been sold thus far and that is very reasonable. The oil refiner system is a new addition to HHO Tek; it is also a 30+ year old product that was brought to HHO Tek in the same manner as the platinum system was. Trevor completely astounded me when he said that the oil refiner will allow a vehicle owner to NEVER change their oil again. Upon hearing this I myself was a bit skeptical until I saw the oil sample analysis from everything from school buses that had went 300,000 miles to new dodge charger police cruisers that had went over 25,000 and the oil samples were perfect, in some cases the used refined oil was actually cleaner than the baseline oil was.
During our interview, we called on Don Conner-Industrial Sales Director for HHO Tek and his view on where this company is headed. “In view of today’s economy and changing marketplace values, I see nowhere but up. We provide sound, tried and tested, environmentally conscious, fiscally conservative products. We do so affordably to those wishing to lower their carbon footprint along with dollars spent for driving, heating, cooling and lighting. We can lower the average family, company, city or state carbon footprint by 25% across the board. Nationwide, that is savings in the hundreds of billions of dollars. The most exciting part of this journey for me is in making the United States a greener safer place to live, by eliminating imports of foreign oil from countries, where a great deal of our wealth and the cream of our youth is being wasted . All the while, some of those nations use our petro dollars to export terrorism.
When we visited the HHO Tek website www.hhotek.com we learned that they do indeed have numerous green products for sale. We asked Trevor what was his biggest seller at the moment and he explained that the home products are new to the site and his sales team is focused on the fuel saver right now, he is firm in the belief, “the rest will come in time; we are having to create a trusted name for ourselves. With so many fuel saving devices out there that simply do nothing more than scam people out of their hard earned money it has a been a rough road to travel , however, I think we are well on the way, in overcoming that skepticism. We inform people about products that work and ones that don’t on our radio show” as listeners do the same for us, in relating their experiences with ours and other’s offerings for the greening of America. When we asked him to give some examples of what doesn’t work, he just grinned and said “I guess you will have tune into the show on Wednesday wont you”
