The Wild West Band shows support for the American Military

PRLog (Press Release) – Nov 01, 2009 – NASHVILLE  - Recently, country radio stations received a request from a brave member of our military stationed in Afghanistan. The solider stressed his love of good country music and the difficulty he and his comrades have in computer access and in locating country music CD's. In his message, it was very obvious this heroic solider missed the country music of home. He was appealing for someone to send country CD's to him to share with his fellow troops. In response, The Wild West Band from Nashville has shipped a case of there newest CD release to this brave young man stationed in harms way so far from home.

Glenn Steed & Darryl Douglas from The Wild West Band stated...."It was such a simple thing to do for those who give so much to protect freedom throughout the world. It is our honor to make this small gesture of support. We pray for the safety of our troops and hope that this music from home will help ease a few moments of the tension and stress faced every day by our brave men and women at war".
