This year the Holland Football Conference will be organized at the Feyenoord / Excelsior Football Academy.
“One of the main targets of the conference is to share experiences between Clubs / Football Academies to create opportunities for talented football players from all continents.”
Leo Beenhakker, technical Director of FC Feyenoord and former coach of Ajax, Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza, Feyenoord and the national teams of Holland, Poland and Saudi Arabia.
Rob Baan, Dutch former coach of FC Twente, Roda JC, Sparta Rotterdam, ADO The Hague and Technical Director of Feyenoord and Al Jazira (U.A.E.).
Workshops:
In a 5 days course attendants will be introduced in the successful approach of the Holland Football School.
Next to the theoretical part they will also attend matches and training sessions of students from the Football Academy.
During the workshops coaches of the Academy will explain the structure and procedure which enabled them to raise former students, e.g. van Persie (Arsenal), Kalou (Chelsea) and Drenthe (Real Madrid), as International purified players.
Special attention will be paid to Sayed Abdullah, a talented young player from the Ajyal Academy in Kuwait, who has attended the Feyenoord / Excelsior Football Academy in 2009. Supported by video’s of matches and training sessions his developments will be evaluated and discussed.
