An interesting story: After years of volunteering with her sons at a local animal shelter to help homeless and sick animals, there was an on-going joke. When the family would be driving in a car and see a dog running on the road, the sons would reach into the front seat and push their moms head down and laugh. They knew they would be stopping and picking up an unexpected passenger and taking a detor to take the dog either home or to the vet, or a no-kill animal shelter.
