Valensi Rose Attorney Wayne R. Johnson Appointed Chair of California State Bar Int'l Tax Committee

Oct. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Valensi Rose, PLC is pleased to announce that Wayne R. Johnson was appointed chairperson of the International Tax Committee of the California State Bar Taxation Section for 2010.  With over 3,000 members, the Taxation Section of the California State Bar is one of the largest tax sections in the country.  Mr. Johnson’s term began September 14, 2009 and coincides with his term as immediate past chair of the California State Bar Taxation Section.

He writes and speaks regularly on matters pertaining to business, tax and complex legal transactions and is often asked to speak to business and professional groups that welcome the combination of his business, legal, tax and accounting perspectives.

Mr. Johnson earned his law degree, with Distinction, from the University of North Dakota School of Law, and holds a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law.  Johnson also currently serves as an adjunct professor of law at Loyola Law School, where he currently teaches Estate and Gift Taxation.  Prior to practicing law, Mr. Johnson worked as an accountant with local and national accountancy firms.
