Oct 30, 2009 – Mezzo Soprano, renowned voice builder and opera director, Marla Volovna, has been invited to give Master Classes at the School of the Colon Theater in Buenos Aires. The Opera School of the Colon Theater is one of the most prestigious schools in the world for young singers and is on a par with the Julliard School in New York and the School of La Scala in Milan, Italy. Ms. Volovna, whose students have won numerous competitions including first place in the Metropolitan Opera Competition(
for the Western Region) will be teaching classes in Acting for Opera Singers. Ms. Volovna has taught master classes in singing technique and Operatic Acting in China, Europe and the United States. The classes will take place in the month of November.
