Uniter Group Ltd, a leading provider of technical support solutions to the channel, has made a significant investment in purchasing spare parts and components valued at more than £1.5 million for a wide range of IT equipment including APC, Cisco, Dell, HP, 3Com, Linksys, NEC and Netgear. This investment is part of a strategic programme for growth that will enable the company to offer a new range of IT support solutions to resellers using its existing infrastructure that includes 24/7 helpdesk and a nationwide network of engineers with the skill and resources to deliver a rapid fix regardless of location.
According to Jason Williams, a Director of Uniter Group: “This investment in will ensure that we always have the right parts in stock to provide a rapid on-site fix in as little as 4 hours using our own highly trained technical specialists or for delivery to channel partners for use by their own engineers. We have also launched a new range of IT support services to meet an increasing demand from resellers. They include IT health checks, remote infrastructure management, distributed IT support and IT lifecycle management in addition to bespoke post warranty IT hardware maintenance services for multivendor environments.”
All parts and components are available for overnight delivery enabling resellers to minimise downtime for their customers. This availability differentiates Uniter Group from other suppliers that rely on a just-in-time process in the hope that they can meet service level requirements.
